In this site we aim to show you the work we entail from the different types of animals we get, to the general maintenance and projects undertaken to stories and membership. Please use the flying Humming Bird at the bottom of each page to return to this page. We would also be grateful of you comments in our guestbook. This Hospital is run by dedicated staff and is dependent upon funds from the public and is a member of the British Wildlife Rehabilitation Council.

This site went on-line on Friday 22nd September 2000 and is best viewed in 1024 x 768 or greater.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR A TRAINEE VET, NEWLY QUALIFIED VET OR VET STUDENT FOR A SUMMER PLACEMENT WITH A VERY BUSY WILDLIFE HOSPITAL AND REHABILITATION CENTRE IN LINCOLN.

WE DEAL WITH ALL TYPES OF WILDLIFE CASUALTIES - BIG OR SMALL, ORPHANED ANIMALS AND BIRDS, INJURED AND SICK ANIMALS AS WELL AS TRAINING AND TEACHING OUR LARGE TEAM OF VOLUNTEERS.

COULD YOU SPARE A FEW WEEKS OR EVEN MONTHS THIS SUMMER TO GET SOME VERY VALUABLE HANDS ON EXPERIENCES WORKING IN ONE OF THE VERY FEW DEDICATED CENTRES FOR WILDLIFE CARE AND ATTENTION?

DO YOU NEED TO WORK ON A RESEARCH PROJECT, A FINAL DISSERTATION OR SOME VALUABLE WORK EXPERIENCE HOURS FOR YOUR COURSE? IF SO MAYBE WE COULD HELP.

ACCOMMODATION IS AVAILABLE ON SITE AT A SMALL COST AS WELL AS OPPORTUNITIES TO PERHAPS WORK ALONGSIDE SOME OF THE MANY RSPCA PERSONAL WE WORK WITH AS WELL AS TIME AT OUR LOCAL VETERINARY HOSPITAL - PARK VIEW.

We hope you all have had a wonderful Xmas, don't forget that even the animals at the hospital need feeding and we were still feeding over Xmas!! ... We still need your help, no matter how small.

Please note that we have had to postpone the 'Perky Pets' day this weekend, we do aim to run it sometime next year though, keep your eyes here for more info!!!

I know its been a while and I was getting moaned at for not updating the website, so I now have some juicy information to tell you!!!!!

We are holding a Coffee Morning & Bric-a-Brac Sale on 30th Sept in Lincoln City Centre (see the Events page for more info).

I have also added some more recent photos of the Staff and Volunteers on the 'Hospital' page.

We have the support of a local Lincoln band called 'Plastic Jack', they will shortly be gigging in Lincoln and have decided to donate all their CD sales to us at Weirfield, why not help and support them. Click here for more details. A big thanks to 'Plastic Jack'
