We treat donations as if the donor had already deducted basic rate tax from them. The charity can then reclaim this tax to increase the value of a donation.

A declaration can be made to cover individual donations,a series of donations, can cover donations made during a specified period or to cover all future donations. They can also be backdated for up to 6 years prior to the date of the declaration provided the donation was made since 6 April 2000.

We have had many events to help and raise money, sponsored events, jumble sales, garage sales, car boot sales, coffee mornings, etc. We will be happy to feature your event on the website also.

A Will is the best way to care for your family, friends, loved ones and even your pets and it can also help ensure that the good causes you really care about are remembered as well.

There are various ways you can help Weirfield Wildlife Hospital in your Will: -

Pecuniary - You can give a specific sum of money, an item, or a piece of property, which is decided when the will or codicil is written.

Residuary - A residuary legacy is a gift of the residue of your estate, or a percentage of the residue (the amount left after your debts have been settled and any legacies you leave to other people have been paid). If you leave your whole estate as a gift, this is also known as a residuary legacy. The value of such a gift is least likely to be cut by inflation.

Specific - If you make a gift of a particular item this is called a specific legacy. This includes stocks and shares, the proceeds of a life assurance policy, property, furniture and jewellery.
